Post ganondoor second phase ganon fight

Ok so I got my first successful ganondoor and proceeded to ganon. I got isg and finished phase 1. Now I picked the master sword up and it's "equipped" but I hit ganons tail with isg at least 20 times now..

Did I do something wrong? The fight is still paused at the moment
