Ique player mido skip - second frame

I need help with the second frame for the mido skip on Ique.
for some reason I have no problems doing that trick on emulator with an original N64 controller.
But when I try the same setup on Ique I keep failing.
I'm doing anything right but I can't clip pass mido he pushes me back every time.
I have no problems with the first frame which works perfectly for me.
I know that there are not many people playing on Ique out there but maybe you heared something that could help me ?

I really need help on this ._. I wouldn't ask if I could find it out somehow.
I watched cosmos passed stream of the mido skip 6 hours without coming to a result.
I'm doing the mido skip for 2 days now I tried anything I could I also compared the angle of the clip with the corner of the kokiri forest like cosmo did
and my angle is more to the left than it should be. I did the same on emulator and everything was fine there.
I know that I need to wait before the last sidehop and I know that it affects my angle but I have no idea how.
Is there a specific frame I need to sidehop on ?
I would really like to learn this trick for swordless route

as long as you wait long enough the angle will be fine.
use the same pause for the shield that I do and hold up+right.
keep holding up+right long enough to do the 2nd jumpslash.
don't press Z too early for the 2nd jumpslash.

That might fix the problem because I do the second jumpslash + hold left + target at the same time.

It was because of the pause i didn't do. I did not know that it affects the angle you get. It's working finally :)

It worked for 10 minutes.....then I realized that it's not the problem.
I keep getting different angles all  the time. I think the angle is allready wrong before I reach the waterbox.
I align the B button with a texture to know if I have the right angle and for some reason it does not align perfectly with the texture. when this happens it's impossible to clip behind mido.
But sometimes it aligns the button without any reason, I don't know why.
I also thought that it might be because of my controllstick but this can't be because I can get the angle sometimes.
everytime I check the angle at the house it says a different angle.....
no matter what I do. I must be doing something wrong and I tryed to fix it with:
1. slower setup/faster setup
2. holding left while first jumpslash until I press start/ tapping left
3. open the menu for a short time/long time
4. framebuffered everything/ without framebuffering
5. only do inputs in framelag after start/ allready hold up+right in menu
6. exeting the shop with different speed.
7. waiting for the camera to align completly (camera movement stops)
8. holding left /holding up+right/holding up - in the second jumpslash to reach the waterbox.
9. press target at the same time as I do the second jumpslash + hold left/ pressing target at a different time (shortly before I reach the waterbox/after I clip/ somewhere in the middle)
10. Tryed to find out in which frame I have to release target to make link clip, which is impossible with a different angle all the time.
11. pulling sword out in the sidehop/ backflip/ at the beginning
12. holding directions (left/up+right) harder
13. all inputs in one frame / all inputs in different frames
14. manipulating the angle by not holding exactly up+ right/left
15. jumpslash in different frames to see if it affects my angle somehow ( it doesn't)
16. heared to links swimming sound, released target on the 5 sound/ after/ before/ at the same time
what I've noticed is that link is sometimes deeper and sometimes higher in the water. sometimes he reaches mido on a specific frame and sometimes he falls out of the waterbox
which could also affect my clip...
Link falls out of bound on the same frame I would clip on emulator.
why is it so hard on Ique and not on an n64 controller ? why is the angle so inconsistant on ique and not on emulator?

yeah it's a hard trick, there's a lot of factors to worry about.

Sometimes I wonder if a skip as difficult as this is the reason why we can't have nice runs...

I've been trying at this as well, for one to actually do it, and to try and find workarounds to make it more consistent for me. But it always seems that just as I find something that works and is good, it gets completely broken the next 50 or so attempts.

Even if I get the clip, it looks totally different  and can't be compared to the emulator setup.

I think it's because of the deadzone. I don't know how other Iques work but for me it's not working.
I don't think that my Ique has a different controllstick than other ones.

Emulator has a different visual cue than console because on emulator you can't see textures that are too close to the camera. I'm not sure if that's what you mean.

No thats not what i mean. The camera and getring the right frame is not the problem.
The problem is that link turns different after releasing target (maybe because of the deadzone of the cobteollstick who knows) which makes it impossible to clip for me.
Im so sure that the console speedrunner have a big disadvantage with this trick.

Yes I am able to do it on iQue. I'm not very consistent, but when I mess up, I can usually tell what I did wrong.

ique doesnt really have a deadzone. When do you begin holding left? I guess it should be before you hit the water. Maybe you're entering the water incorrectly, which gives you the wrong position at the end.

The only reason you should get inconsistent angles if you don't wait long enough before the final sidehop.

Make sure you keep holding up-right until after you've pressed B for the 2nd jumpslash.

For the 2nd jumpslash, try pressing B right before pressing target, and starting holding left at the same time you target.

There should be 2 frames to untarget. I basically use the ground appearing as a visual cue.
