Rule #1 of Impromptu: If you don't understand RBA, DON'T USE IT! Keeta, Grunz, and Pokey all had their runs destroyed when they deleted Song of Storms with a Song of Time RBA. It seems every time someone loses something due to RBA misuse.

I totally would've won well before Jiano, but encountered a run breaking glitch exactly 20 min before he won.

My route:
-20r to sword, equip
-20r to shield, equip
-5r to kokiri kid, pokey escape

-superslide to castle
-get egg, equip with ocarina

-dot skip flawless
-save/reset
-backwalk to kakariko
-get song of storms (big mistake) (5/6)
-get cucco, pause/unpause
-dampe race for hookshot, equip
-sidehop back and forth through door
-to lost woods
-backflip over mido

-pressure jump first try
-get odd mushroom
-goron warp to kakariko
-get odd potion
-rba for song of time (6/6)

I pause to make sure I have all the songs, but song of storms was deleted. I was worried, then realized I was literally right next to it. But I couldn't relearn it. So i posted on chat. I scrampled in-game for about 15 min, tried to find a solution, then forfeited. Had I got the song after the rba, I would've been in perfect shape/.

i came in 3rd ;D

here was my route:

-Sword
-Shield

-Teach frogs songs and play song of storms for heart piece
-Spend about 10 minutes failing miserably at the minigame
-Finish in 3rd with exactly 2 hours of playing ;D

I said FUCK to RBA because I knew I'd screw it up somehow (I really should learn what everything does but don't have time.

So no-RBA route:

-Sword
-Shield
-Pokey Escape
-ZL (1/6)
-Epona (2/6)

4th place. Though would have been 5th if ssbmpro would have gotten the fly song, he was there first.

I streamed it all, can view it here: http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/3697070

Same as Runnerguay's except I failed at PG and then gave up. My parents were hassling me to turn it off and calling me for dinner, and I couldn't keep going even if I wanted.

i only knew how to get sot cuz jiano told me awhile ago. i figured id do any% route (minus unnecessary things), but didnt take deletion in account at all

my route
get sword and sheild
pokey escape
get ZL
than get milk bottle and eponas song
savewarp to house
get sarias song
savewarp to house
get 20 rupees if i dont have
golden scale early

scarecrow song (i forgot to get it >_>)
show king zora bottle

watch scene and get odd potion
steal rod again
deku stick on b
rba odd potion with bug on b
get sos and go to tot
play sot go back in time
get golden scale again
go to river and finish run

i failed so my run is useless

My lack of knowledge on what it takes to go back in time really destroyed my run:

My failed route:
-Pokey Escape
-Got Zelda's Lullaby, Saria's song, Sun's Song, and Epona's song(very quickly I might add  ;))
-Deku Tree
-Dodongo Cavern
-Got Scarecrow song
-Got Gold Scale and Bottle
-Inside Jabu-Jabu
-Played the 5 songs for the frogs and made them big
-Got Song of Time
-Went forward in time.
-Got Song of Storms
-Began RBA process to get last 2 medallions(thought they would make shiek go away)
-RBA'd Saw because I thought it might give me a medallion I needed for Shiek to go away(didn't)
-RBA'd broken sword, watched LA cutscene
-Realized Shiek still wasn't gone
-Found out I need to beat FT, realized Saria's Song had been RBA'd away, realized I've never done the FT BK Skip
-Reluctantly forfeited and cried in a corner  :'(

Seems like non-RBA was the way to go for this impromptu(aside from SoT).

PS: Watching Zelda get kidnapped then turning around and seeing Sheik guarding the MS pedestal 30 feet away right afterwards was a hilarious paradox.

My route:
Sword + Shield
Deku Tree + slingshot
castle and ZL
backwalk to Kokiri Forest (forgot to savewarp)
Saria's song
to Kakariko, sun's song
up DMT to GC, get bracelet
DC with ground jump SB on 1st floor

played 3 songs for frogs

couldnt remember how to do Jabu jumpslash, went and got fish
Jabu Jabu
(I have no idea what happened but my ipod stopped recording for some reason. So there may be 5-10 minutes of video missing when i upload it. Actually because of that the video split)
got Zora's engagement ring
Ranch, epona's song
Ocarina of Time
ZR, played 2 songs for frogs
Wondered why bug-catching game wasnt available
Realized song of storms was required
Profanity
Became adult
Forgot to get SoS en route to Hookshot
Did forest temple natural route cuz i couldnt find the vid for the glitch that makes the elevator stay there during the cutscene (I thought it was one of Acryte's vids but it turned out to be TSDA's)
Got SoS
Back in time
ZR, SoS, bug-catching game
played saria's song
end

I converted my mp4 file to avi so I could segment it with Windows Movie Maker. The converting software made the audio badly out of sync. The actual files still on my iPod (and the original mp4 files on my computer) are still perfectly in sync. What I should do is find an mp4 splitter and just upload the mp4s straight to YouTube to resync it. Until I do that, though:

http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=DBDD74E25120E70D

Unfortunately I cannot find for the life of me an mp4 splitter that will actually give me 10-minute videos without central watermarks for free (which I suppose is the point of paying for them). If anyone can help with this I'd appreciate it, if not the videos are going to stay out of sync. It gets gradually more and more out of sync as the playlist goes on. The first segment isn't bad, but near the middle the sound comes about 10 seconds later than the picture.

My final time was actually 3:14. PLZ2CHANGE?

The footage lost in Jabu-Jabu was half of the green tentacle battle, and exiting the room. Nothing major.

Ustream Recording.
