Some may feel squeamish about eating it, but rabbit has a fan base that grows as cooks discover how easy they are to raise — and how good the meat tastes.

I had rabbit when I went to Italy. It's very good.

Squirrel is better, imo, especially in stew. The heart is the best and most tender meat as well.

My neighbor gave me some alligator meat once, it wasn't bad. It tasted like chicken (what a surpise!) and it was dry and rather tough. This is a true story btw.

Canadian here. Beaver is the real luxury meat, if you can ever catch one of those fuckers...

PROTIP: fishing nets work great!

I've had shark, it was really chewy..also, venison (deer) is actually pretty good, if you can handle eating one of the cute little critters

I don't think I've ever met a person in real life who thought eating deer or rabbit was weird at all.

That probably says something about where I live, but oh well.  Deer jerky is top notch.
