OoT Challenge Topic

This topic will be updated as I think of stuff. Mostly it is just for peoples amusement and to show off skills. People can keep track of which challenges they have completed.

[1] Obtain all 8 dungeon items. You may not grab the Master Sword.
[2] Hover to the Forest Temple as Adult Link. You must have Iron Boots on the whole time.
[3] Complete the game with only 14 items (items on B do not count).
[4] Complete MST with only 27 items
[5] Enter Ganon's Castle with the Ocarina of Time on B, no Megaton Hammer, and no rainbow bridge.
[6] Megaflip across the broken bridge in Gerudo Valley as adult. You may not use ISG.
[7] Get all Golden Skulltula in under 3:00
[8] Do 25 consecutive silent rolls
[9] Complete the game in under an hour
[10] Complete MST without taking damage in a single segment
[11] Beat Morpha using only the Broken Giant's Knife (no Hookshot or Longshot)

do we need video proof for whatever challenges we complete?

I changed the GS one to 2:15. I figure skipping bosses/cutscenes/ganon's castle from ZFG's run and adding in Longshot/skulltulas and a tad better play would ammount to this. Again, if people are getting times like 2:50 with not much room for improvement, I'll change this.

You don't technically need video proof, since there are no rewards from these challenges. However, if you want people to believe you, it is highly recommended.

Maybe I made the silent rolls one too easy...I'll leave it though. It balances out the many brutally hard ones.

Your challenge required 10+ lines to explain. Mine are all under 20 words.

I did #1 back in 07 lol

I'll try 3 and 7 over the summer.

This is loleasy.  I got a game over trying to megaflip over the gap at the beginning of shadow and still made it just in time.

Impossible to prove unless you're streaming, so it can't really be used as a goal.

And don't discuss impromptu topics on the forums: if somebody comes up with a good one and posts it it's a complete waste of a good idea.

Go through the whole OoT intro without allowing a single blue symbol to appear.

I might try to do an any% deku stick run soon. However, I'll need to practice a lot first.

I win the 3 child dungeons with a stick on B but with shield. Adult link can wear invisible sticks on gcn, it can be interesting to make a run with no sword (delete the master sword with stealing the rod)

Is this even possible to complete under this time? I played race with my friend to get 50GS and that took me somewhere 1:55. Maybe 1:30 is possible with very clever route planning and with no mistakes. And that was just for child part of the game and I didn't even get to adult at all. So I don't think so it is possible to beat this under 2:30 , or I'm wrong?

That one is still being tested....ZFG thinks it is doable in under 3 hours iirc. As soon as he completes a good test run, we'll have a better idea on what to make the target time.
