Worst commercial game I've ever played... hrm, that's a tough one. It's either Star Fox Adventures, Cartoon Network Racing (GBA), or Dragon Ball Z: Legacy of Goku (GBA). The worst part is that I've beaten all of them.

Superman 64 is a high contender, but I really have to go with ANY WWF/ECW/whatever 3D Wrestling games I've ever played. They bore me to tears with their repitition and purely scripted fight systems.

I avoid bad games as best I can so I've never played any really bad games. I guess I'd have to go with like Nintendogs or something just because it's stupid and boring lol.
FIFA World Cup for N64. I fucking HATE sports games, and this one was by far the worst. I can't even figure out how the fuck I'm supposed to PLAY it. Also, what the FUCK is with the fucking chicken on the main menu?

To start with, the driving/flying is awful in that game. Although, it has very good music, everything looks nice and there are many funny things in it that brings back memories from when you played it as a kid and liked it alot.
And of course, the fact that I'm playing it on PAL is annoying.

But PAL Rare games are adjusted to be the same speed as their NTSC counterparts (obviously not perfect but the difference isn't really noticeable at all).

It's 1/24 slower, that's alot.
1/24 is not noticeable unless you're doing a long speed run <_<
Doesn't matter, it shouldn't be slower under any circumstaces and it still makes a difference in a speed run, no matter how long it is.

MK64 is MUCH better than DKR, it's the best Mario Kart game ever!... if you ignore the slowdown...

I find it funny that we're like total opposites, because I would say that MK64 is the worst Mario Kart game :P. The multiplayer is good, but the single player is average at best. Plus DKR is better in every way imaginable (apart from difficulty ¬_¬).
MK64 IS the worst Mario Kart game. It was actually the first video game I owned and I still think it's terrible.

What the hell!?!?!? You two can't possibly mean that SMK, MKSC and MKDS are better than MK64??? MKDD and MKW would be understandable.

MK64 is mid-low tier nowadays. the only thing it still does better than the others is battle mode.

So you think that even those 3 I mentioned are better? I don't get it, they have the same shitty driving mechanics like DKR. I don't know about MKDS though, because I have never even played it, but I hardly think it is any better. Never in my life will I like a game for a handheld console more.

well, i can't say much about the 2D MKs since those are my least favorites but MKDS is pretty good. it is console-quality MK on a handheld and one of the better installments.
dismissing handheld games like that is bad since the best nintendo games in recent times have been on portables. portables are as powerful as consoles of the yesteryear and we can get OoT-level games on them nowadays.

Well, the best Nintendo games in recent times in my opinion have been on TV consoles.
Well, I did buy a 3DS and OoT3D and yeah, it was a really good remake but sure it wasn't as good as the original. I might buy some other games for DS.

Now you've actually got me thinking about which MK games I prefer lol. MKDS and MKSC are pretty good games, whereas SMK isn't too great in my opinion. Actually, I probably would have to say that MK64 is better than SMK. As for best, I'd say MKW, no question.
