Cosmo's Halloween Race!!! Very special event! Oct 30 at 6:30 PM EST

This Sunday, Oct 30 at 6:30 PM EST I will be hosting a very amazing race goal that is halloween-themed!!

I want to see full support here cause I tested the goal and I think it is awesome!

Post here if interested. The time of day might change.

As always, to join the race, go to http://speedrunslive.com/channel/ at the time specified.

I won`t join the race, but i think it`s a nice idea.
Hope someone will post the race on youtube so that it can be watched afterwards.

Sounds awesome, and it's at a reasonable time, too!

I have work on sunday from 12 to whenever the place closes so i'll probably get home at 8 at the least though thats entirely dependant on how all the games go. ill probably join if i get home early enough

This sounds like fun. Will probably join if nothing comes up.

Here at college I just have an emulator to play OOT. What happens if I can't stream it?

its easy to stream screen regions in Xsplit (www.xsplit.com) so streaming emu is pretty easy!

Sounds awesome, I wonder what is goal.

It should be good; I wanna see a decent number of entrants!

The Xsplit server is "refusing to cooperate" and will not let me create an account?

EDIT: Never mind. It finally let me register.

Now how do I record it?

At the bottom left of Xsplit there's a button called "Add..." and you'll want to add a screen region (i.e. the region of your screen w/ the emulator on). You'll also need to create a Justin TV account and link it to Xsplit (in Xsplit, settings -> channel -> Add... -> enter details and what not).

I added all the details and set up my channel, but it still says I don't have one :/.

It's not coming up on SRL, you mean? In the IRC you need to .setstream justin.tv/*yourchannel* for it to come up.

Thanks for that, but the main problem is in the Xsplit Justin.tv settings. I typed in my username and password, but the Channel stays blank.

Oh I see, the Channel box autocompletes itself when I type Link98 in the Username box. Not sure I'm much use!

Oh, don't worry, you helped me a lot! The problem was that I didn't verify my account, so everything should be fine now!

EDIT: Still not working...lol. If I can't stream it I'll just join anyway.

What was the goal? :)

:o didnt see those bats behind that text before, creepy.
