Just finished my run, however I rushed during the end because I thought I wouldn't be able to have another crack at it until Monday~ : /

i saw the tas compilation on youtube, but why havent you updated the thread? and also when is the next task going to start (i know i shouldnt want ANOTHER comp to participate in, what with the sm64, smw, and one i made at tasvideos.org, but i cant help it)?

I'm on holiday now for 2 weeks.

when those 2 weeks are over I will take this more serious and will post a new task every week. I have some nice ideas already ;)

Same for me, I really feel like TASing some OoT/MM instead of SM64 atm!

same for me, sm64 is so boring to tas. it requires i ton of optimization and weird speed tricks (like the thing you do at the beginning of BOB, that makes no sense to me),where zelda is more interesting.

I was told, that I'm only hosting this competition to push my ego and to show everyone, how good I am at TASing. according to some people I'd also only choose goals, which I can't be beaten at. this really took my motivation away to go on with this thing here.

someone else is welcome to host the next goal, though, then I will at least not choose a goal I will win at any way and won't get another ego boost <_<

i have a question about the entry point. is the entry point from the entrance coming from the swamp, or the gossip entrance?

the entrance is the normal one coming from the swamp. you know the bottom one

question, can i get dq'ed by asking if/how you can do a certain glitch? (ex in a task to get from a entrance in snowhead mountain to the temple start (without lully), i ask if its possible to bomb hover from the normal entrance (where the owl is) to the temple entrace (just using it as an example))?

the challenge is not to get the heart piece as fast as possible. the CHALLENGE is to grab the heart piece and THEN get to the deku kings chamber as fast as possible.

Oh well fuck it, blame my horrible lack of understanding...

Tested some strategies, found an awesome one, then realized Goron mask was banned : <
But I believe this task has potential so out of procrastination I made this for all the confused people/newbies. (even tho I believe it was explained quite well)

Sounds like a good ideas, since my primary language isn't english, I tend to misunderstand things easily...

it's a hard task lol : / I can only see one solid route, which I doubt will win it for me, as it's an obvious route and I'll need an awesome/unique route to beat awesome competitors : <  which I've come very close to finding (;
