You're most likely holding down too long after the first backflip, causing you to be too close to the warp. Or you are press A too late after pressing down, causing you to move before the backflip. Either way, just make sure you are pressing the A button and down on the stick at about the same time.

If it's not that you're lining up with the wall wrong.

It looks like your input for ocarina items is too slow, when I watch your first video. Make sure you press bottle and then sword very quickly after backflipping.

Don't bother with what you are doing in the second video. The setup should definetely work, so don't add any stupid variables into the process like tiny steps forward.

Yeah, that was definitely slow on the ocarina items. The sword takes I think 3 frames to pull out all the way so you need to be pretty fast using the bottle then sword, though it's still a pretty large window of error.

You have a bad previous cutscene. It won't work from the title screen cutscene so you'll have to watch a different one. Either that or go back to link's house and pause which is suppose to fix it.

I'm having a lot of trouble finding a consistent setup for a bomb megaflip past the waterfall to get into Zora's Domain. I tried many different angles and distances and couldn't get one to work more than once. Any help would be appreciated!

can someone tell me wat im doing wrong? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yu3Pz_OsnNw

Basically you let go of Z, advance one frame, press Z again and then you need to wait at least one frame for holding left on your analog stick (I'm not sure of this last step tbh). Are you doing these steps correctly?

Maybe your execution of the setup isn't correct, which makes your angle a little off. You could try another setup.

What you're doing wrong is holding left too quickly.  You need to wait something like 2-12 frames before holding left, so you have about a half second before you've actually screwed up.  Just try to wait a split second before holding left.

Should be no different as child. After all, you can do it with a chu as child so why not?

The setup doesn't nescessarily work, I think.

The bomb position is very lenient and doesn't really need a setup, just a good idea on the position needed. The angle on the other hand is far more important.

Does anyone know the easiest way to catch a fish? Also, I read that equipping the Iron Boots helps catch them too, but I don't know if that's accurate.

Basically, how do the fish mechanics work?

I'm still looking for an answer to this. I'm really curious as to how fishing works.

God, its been forever since I came here.
Anyways, I followed a 100% route and got stuck on the vine clip in botw. I don't get how u do that. I only got it one time, which was by random luck because I didn't pause buffer.

When you wrong warp with FW set outside of Twin's House, you end up in Hyrule Castle (child day version). But I don't understand this. I thought wrong warping will add 4 entrances. So Kokiri Forest (08) at Adult Night + 4 = Ganon's Tower Outside at Adult Night. So why does it take you to Child Day? I am referring to sva's "Hyrule Castle as Adult" video.

When you go anywhere, the game passes a base index value for the entrance that it wants to put you at. The base value is what is stored by everything (last entrance, farore's wind), rather than the fully calculated entrance index. Age does not factor in to your starting index.

So Kokiri Forest entrance 08 is represented by a base index value of 0x33C. +4 for cutscene, +1 for deku tree / dodongo's cavern blue warp puts you into 0x0341 which is Hyrule Castle.

I want to use this for Any% no Wrong Warp but how do I get it to be consistent?  I've done it successfully a bunch of times already but most of the time the explosion throws me into the river.  I'm pretty sure this means I'm somehow ending up too close to the edge but I don't notice any difference in my setup between when it works and when it doesn't.  I've tried a whole bunch of stuff but it seems completely random when it decides to work.  I've been trying this for the last few days so I'd be grateful for any advice.

Have you shield dropped the bomb immediately after pulling it out? It should be a little bit to the right of you. Also, are you falling into the water from the left of the bridge?
